Burnt offering

Leviticus 6:

9. Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

Strafbaar feit:

Handeling, of juist nalatigheid om te handelen, die bij wet strafbaar is gesteld.

Strafbare feiten worden onderscheiden in overtredingen en misdrijven.

 

Overtreding:

Is meestal een licht strafbaar feit dat door de kantonrechter wordt behandeld.

Denk aan een verkeersovertreding, wildplassen of op verboden terrein lopen.

 

Boete:

Een boete is een bedrag dat betaald moet worden naar aanleiding van een overtreding.

Zowel de overheid als organisaties zoals bibliotheken kunnen boetes opleggen.

 

Bij wet:

Wetten zijn geschreven rechtsregels. Elke wet is onderdeel van het recht, maar het recht is breder dan enkel wetten. Ook de rechtspraak, de rechtsleer en gewoonten zijn rechtsbronnen. De aankondiging van een wet wordt soms een edict genoemd.

 

• Een Rechtspersoon is een juridische constructie.
• Juridisch is een woord dat aangeeft dat er gekeken wordt of iets wel of niet klopt met datgene dat in de verschillende wetboeken staat beschreven. 'Juridisch correct' betekent dus dat het klopt volgens het wetboek.

Rechtsregels:

Een rechtsnorm is in het recht een bepaling met bindende werking. Heeft een rechtsnorm algemene werking dan wordt zij ook wel rechtsregel genoemd. Daarom worden de termen rechtsregel en rechtsnorm dikwijls door elkaar gebruikt. Op een meer abstract niveau kan men daarenboven ook algemene rechtsbeginselen tot de rechtsnormen rekenen.
